Information

Enid qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the West Middlesex Hospital, London in 1978 and then worked at Frenchay and Cossham Hospitals. While at Cossham she joined the start up Community Physio Scheme which brought Laura WattsPhysiotherapy care into people's homes. Part of this treatment was to empower patients to manage their own conditions by teaching a regime of stretching and exercises.

Enid started in private practice in 1995 and has worked at Litfield House since then. She also has had experience within other private clinics within Bristol. She treats a variety of ailments specialising in musculo-skeletal problems especially injuries sustained from road traffic accidents e.g. whiplash, headaches and soft tissue dysfunctions. Dizziness is also a speciality.

Following many years of experience, Enid recognises the value of patient self-management. This is especially true for musculo-skeletal problems, where root causes can be aggravated by everyday activities. Her aim is to achieve full recovery and provide the patient with the knowledge and skills to prevent recurrence of problems.
